What does joining our program include?

Our travel professional program is one of the best side-gigs, at-home work or even full time jobs out there! We offer online training for that leaves you confident in selling to friends, family or new clients. We also offer two ways to join our team: Free Membership & Plus Membership. Free includes our training, booking for commission, community access and ongoing support. Our Plus Membership ($99) includes everything in the Free along with access to our CRM tool and Benefits.

1. No minimum booking requirements. Book as much or as little or as often as you want.

2. Sell to friends, family or find new clients in your area or online. However you want to get the word out about what you do is up to you.

3. We pay monthly commission which includes 70% of the commission paid. That’s the highest paid amount online! 70% with Yeti is more than 70% with other agencies. We are at the highest tiers with nearly every supplier. So when you book with us and our supplier commission tiers you earn more than with other agencies.

4. Full training and continued training so you can know your products and the best way to sell them.

5. Support from our amazing team. We’re here for you if you have questions or need help.

6. Free access to our CRM to help you manage your clients, send professional travel quotes, manage itineraries and track commissions*.

What’s the process like?

1. Join

Joining is easy! But before you do we want you to know that we do offer two different memberships. Our FREE membership allows you to train and book for commission along with ongoing support and training (it’s free forever). Our Plus Membership includes everything from FREE along with access to our CRM and Benefits. Complete your check-out of our travel agent membership and you’ll receive an instant download of our welcome packet. This goes over all the things you need to do to get started. In the background, our onboarding team has been notified and will be reaching out to set-up a welcome call with you.

2. Training

Your welcome packet will allow you to get started on our in-house training which goes over the very basics of being a team member, what you can expect from us, basic business set-up, getting ready to work with suppliers, our tools and resources, commissions and how to get paid, basics of marketing and our community. We’ll also go over the licenses that we hold and that you’re covered under as well as our included E&O insurance.

3. Suppliers

As you finish your training, you’ll start to apply for accounts with suppliers. These accounts are how you book for clients and train on supplier products. We’ll walk you through the process and get you started on your supplier training. This is how you become an expert at selling products like Walt Disney World Resort packages, cruises, hotels and resorts, all-inclusives and more. You can ultimately choose the suppliers that you want to work with but our training takes you through the three basics: theme park packages, cruises and hotel-only. You WILL feel comfortable selling once you’ve completed these trainings which can be done at your own pace and are actually really fun to do!

4. Start Booking

Now you’re ready to book! We’ll help you get started as you reach out to friends and family. Most new agents find that they already know somebody who is traveling or wanting to. This is the perfect place to start! We’ll also help with social posts and content to get you started on your brand marketing. You can use our in-house CRM (with our Plus Membership) to start sending quotes to clients and manage their bookings. It’s very easy to use and auto-applies your company info into all quotes and itineraries. We’ll also get you added to our customer-facing website where you can receive free leads from our website visitors!

5. Get Paid

With your first booking in the bag you’ll be wanting to get paid! Our commission process is very simple and we do all of our payments to you via ACH so it’s quick and right into your bank account! Our process walks you through every step including how to calculate your commission and the details we need from you. It takes 3 minutes or less!

6. Grow

Our program is not a “here you go” program. You’re joining our family and we’ll be ready to chat anytime you want to be! Join us for agency trainings and webinars, on-site inspection and FAM (familiarization) trips at places like Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Orlando and Cruise Ports, and stay active in our agency community where all your fellow team members are talking travel, asking questions, sharing content and ideas and becoming close! Our goal is to help you grow into what you want so count on us being active on your journey.

7. Have Fun

This is why you joined in the first place! You’re now working from home, at your own pace, booking vacations for clients who are super excited for their upcoming travel. Our agency has A LOT of fun every single day. Expect AMAZING giveaways including merchandise, vacations (yes, we giveaway free trips all the time!), cash and so much more! Join us on our next annual FAM trip where we all get to meet in-person and explore a destinations like Disneyland Resort or Universal Orlando. These trips are very discounted for you and typically include your park ticket, hotel, a dinner or dining card, gift card, on-site inspections, special events like dessert parties or VIP tours and more. They are so much fun!

What’s required of you?

Whether you’ve done this before or you’re brand new, we want you to succeed! All that we ask of our agents is that you take the chance to train and then sell to someone.

We would hate to see you join and not take advantage of the opportunity to earn commission. EVERYONE knows someone who’s going to be traveling soon. So why not book their package for them?

In some cases you can even take over for someone who has already booked!

FAQ’s

1. When and how are commissions paid?

Commissions are paid after your guests has traveled. This is when most companies  pay commission to us. You’ll receive 70% (or more) of the commission on each of your bookings. We typically pay within days of receiving the commission. You can be paid either by Direct Deposit or Check. To submit a commission please use our Commission page.

2. Is the $99 Plus Membership an annual fee?

No. It is a one time fee paid when you join the team and gives you ongoing access to our CRM and Benefits.

3. Do you have a required minimum booking amount?

No. Agents can book as much or as little as they want each year.

4. I’ve never done this before. Is it hard?

Motivation (like any job) is required. You can go out and pursue clients to make more sales or you can let friends and family know that you can book their travel and wait for them to come to you. It all depends on how much you want to make from this and how much time and effort you want to put in.

5. Don’t Travel Agents charge more?

Back in the day, this was the case. Travel Agents added on a commission that their clients paid. Now a days, this is not the case. The company you’re booking the travel with now pays the commission. If you book a Disneyland Resort package, Disney pays a commission. This also means that pricing for products are either the same or better than what your clients would find booking themselves. It’s a win-win!

6. Do you provide leads?

We may at our discretion provide leads to you but agents are encouraged to find their own leads and customers. Many times it’s as simple as putting a post out on Facebook, X or Instagram. Everyone knows someone who is going to be traveling!

7. Do you offer E&O Insurance?

Yes, we provide E&O insurance to our agents.

8. Are you registered Sellers of Travel in the states that require it?

Yes. We are registered in CA, FL and WA. Independent Agents are required to register with FL annually under our CST.

9. What kind of training is provided?

Tons! We have our own training that will help you learn about and use our resources including our in-house CRM that helps you manage clients, travel quotes, bookings and commissions. We’ll teach you best practices, marketing and how to book suppliers using their online portals (it’s really easy!).

All suppliers our Suppliers offer Travel Professionals training on their products and booking process so you can feel confident in selling them. They are all done online at your own pace.

10. How do I use TA Benefits?

The TA benefits are available to agents AFTER they have completed their training (and if our Plus Membership was purchased). Benefits are a way for you to get to know what you’re selling better. Great agent discounts including cruises, theme park hotels, tickets and more are available. Keep in mind that benefits are subject to change and availability.

11. How do I obtain my CLIA card/travel agent ID?

This is done at cruising.org. You first need to make an account. Once you’ve done that you can register as an individual agent under Yeti Travel Agency using the CLIA number found in your welcome packet. You will need to pay the $119 for the card each calendar year. The CLIA card is required to use the agent benefits and must be in hand before requesting any benefits. We also offer an online tutorial. Each card is subject to review before approval.

12. What if I make a mistake or have an issue with a client?

Your training is going to help you avoid mistakes with your bookings but in case something does happen, we’re here for you. We’ll work with the supplier and make sure that your client is happy. Most “mistakes” are easy to fix.

If you have an issue with a client, let us know. In most cases issues can be resolved quickly and easily. And again, we are here to help you if such occasion arises.

13. Can I start booking right away after joining?

You can start booking after your online training is completed. This typically takes 2-3 days.

14. Are there other suppliers that I can book?

Yes! Our list of suppliers on this website in not all-inclusive of the many suppliers we work with. And if you happen to find a new one that you want to work with, let us know!

15. Do I work under my own agency name?

Yes, and you can come up with any name you want for your agency! Just keep in mind supplier names and copyright titles are not allowed. This would include (for instance) using the name Disney, Mickey, Minnie or similar. Disney names, characters and titles are copyrighted. If you have a question about this please contact us.

16. I’m nervous about setting up a business and the process.

You would be surprised that this is the #1 reason people decide not to join. DO NOT LET THIS STOP YOU FROM MOVING FORWARD. While we cannot provide legal advice, we can provide you with resources on how to set-up your business in your state.
