Enjoy the unique Swiss themed town of Midway, Utah

Ski at nearby Sundance Mountain Resort

  • Plan ahead. If you’re planning on members of your group participating in the ski school, make your booking in advance and arrive early.

  • We rented skis and snowboards at the resort which made the visit easy and enjoyable.

  • Several food options including a breakfast special for $10 and a lunch special for $10! Or travel up to the back mountain and have a meal or snack at the top of the world with incredible views!

  • Great for families or adults. Sundance enjoys incredible snow and has runs fit for all ages and experience levels.

Ice Skating in Midway’s town center

  • Fun for the whole family

  • Hot chocolate and donuts available to enjoy

  • Located in the heart of Midway. Enjoy local shops or restaurants after your visit

  • No need to make a reservation in advance. The rink wasn’t busy at all during our visit. You pay for a 2 hour session.

Dining

  • The globes at Cafe Galleria - reserve them about a month in advance. They book quickly!

  • Blue Boar Inn no longer has the 5 course Sunday Brunch available. That’s a bummer because it was one of our favorites! However, Blue Boar Inn is a unique building with beautiful decor and the food is always delicious.

  • Nearby Heber, UT or Park City, UT have several great dinner locations. We tried a couple in Midway but would not recommend either of them…

Zermatt

  • You can book a room at the hotel or reserve one of the residences through VRBO. We booked a residence which had plenty of space for our group of 11 to enjoy.

  • There are several restaurants and shops on site. The property grounds are incredible and have views of the nearby mountains and wildlife.

  • Parking is included in your stay.

  • The highlight is always the heated indoor/outdoor pool!
