Universal Studios Orlando’s VIP Tours are SO WORTH IT
Maximum magic in one day…
-
Hagrid's Motorbike Adventure
This was probably our family’s favorite attraction. There is no express pass for this ride, but we were able to ride it 5 times in a row with no waiting in line thanks to our wonderful VIP tour guide!

Velocicoaster
This one is for the thrill seekers! I gave up after two times, but the kids kept going! This attraction has speeds and turns unlike any other coaster you’ll find. And thanks to our VIP tour guide, no waiting in line!

Jurrasic Park
A fun ride for the whole family and a great way to cool down! It’s nice being able to skip the line and jump right on the attraction!
VIP Tours
VIP Tours generally need to be booked in advance. You’re able to have up to 12 members in your party. While the tours can seem expensive at first, there are some costs being offset when booking a tour that do make a difference! I’ll list those below. In just one 8 hour day at the parks we were able to ride 24 total rides. Even with unlimited Express Pass the best you can hope for is maybe 8.
We were able to do a back lot tour of the studio lot, dine at restaurants without having reservations, and we got to walk inside and behind the scenes in some of the rides. It was an awesome experience. Plus, you don’t wait in line. Your VIP tour guide will walk you straight to the exit of each ride and you get right on as the previous riders are exiting. And you are able to ride the same attraction over and over if you want!
All meals are included with the tour
Since you get to see and do it all in one day, you don’t need to buy multiday tickets or book extra hotel nights. For my family extra days add up! We have tickets, parking, hotel, food, souvenirs, treats, etc for each day. Those expenses add up in a major way!
If you’re able to combine this with another family and get 10-12 guests in your VIP tour, the cost of the tour will be more than you’d generally spend. However, if you normally spend 3 days at the parks and now you’re able to do just one 8 hour day, you save a good portion of that money so the tour becomes only marginally more than you would have spent otherwise. Plus, one 8 hour day is so much more of a vacation than three 12 hour days!
If you’re able to book the tour I HIGHLY recommend it. Your family will have a lifetime of memories. So worth it!
